Hugo Yoshikawa is a French-Japanese freelance illustrator.

He has travelled the world from a young age, growing up in places such as Tokyo, Bangkok and New York. He discovered his love for drawing when he was 10 years old, reading his first French comic (Belgium to be precise) "Spirou et Fantasio". Taking inspiration from this comic and experiences from different cultures, Hugo went on to study illustration at Camberwell College of Arts (University of the Arts London). Since graduating in 2008 he's built his portfolio, from his comic blog to internships at design houses in Madrid and Tokyo.

After spending some time as an apprentice in the mountains of Gunma Japan with artist Hitoji Tsukagoshi, he now lives Paris.

Il voyage le monde depuis un très jeune age, ayant vécu à des endroits tel que Tokyo, Bangkok et New York. Il découvrit son amour pour le dessin lorsqu'il lut pour la premiére fois les aventures de Spirou et Fantasio à 10 ans. A travers la Bande Dessinée et ses experiences à travers le voyage, c'est ainsi qu'Hugo finit par aller Camberwell College of Arts à Londres pour des études d'illustration. Depuis les études terminées en 2008, Hugo voyage en travaillant sur son portfolio ainsi que des stages dans differentes maison de design à Madrid et Tokyo.

Après avoir vécut chez un peintre dans les montagnes de Gunma pour apprecier la nature et étudier la peinture, il vit actuellement à Paris.

吉川有悟（よしかわ　ゆうご）は日本とフランスのハーフのイラストレーターです。

幼い頃から世界を旅して育った有悟君は１０才の時に「Spirou et Fantasio」というベルギーのマンガを発見して以来絵に夢中になりました。そういうことからロンドンの美術大学（Camberwell College of Arts）のイラスト部へ行き、2008年に卒業して以来は世界を旅行しながら絵の勉強をつづけています。

有悟君は群馬県の昭和村の山奥で画家、塚越仁慈さんのもとで修行を終え、現在パリに住んでいます。
